Char 2C build – Part 4:Assembly (hull)

Words can’t do justice to the size of this thing – I have built no bigger model in this scale. This is going to take a long time to weather! My only complaint is that the top and bottom hull pieces don’t quite make a neat join at the front – some filler is required (see another description of this problem here). Unhappily, I noticed that one of the side machine gun barrels had snapped off at some point and, of course, was long since lost. Looks like I am going to have to try a repair with micro brass tube. The tracks must be the quickest to assemble that I have ever experienced – the plastic pieces just snap together and seem secure.
