Primer: Tamiya “Fine Surface Primer” (white) spray can.
Base coat: Xtracrylix “British Deep Bronze Green” XA1814. I must have used my old airbrush (with a wider nozzle than my current one) when last I used this paint, because I had some difficulties getting it to spray nicely. A mixture obtained by diluting it with the manufacturer’s recommended (wildly unrealistic?) 15% thinner proved to be too thick. Eventually I used a mixture of 70% paint and 30% thinner. Also, I added Liquitex Flow Aid (in a ratio of 1 part Flow Aid to 20 parts thinner), as mentioned here. Spraying at 15-20 psi I was able to get a decent coverage. The paint is durable and slightly glossy when dry (which it does at amazing speed – hence the airbrush blockages).
