I have to say, this could be the trickiest kit I have yet built! So much dry fitting of parts to ensure a decent fit, multiple small parts, not enough locating pins on the parts, errors in the instructions (see here – https://www.thundermodel.com/35304/35304-35305_instructions_corrected.pdf), not enough detail in the instructions such that in a few cases I had to sort of guess where the part went. At a certain point I just wanted to build it, so ultimate accuracy was sacrificed – it always is! On the plus side, the resin wheels are nice and the accompanying information booklet (not the assembly one!) and paint schemes are well done.
This one came close to the bin several times but what saved it always was the fact that I like the subject matter and see possibilities for interesting stowage options for the final model. Hopefully once painted and weathered it will look alright.
I should do a better designed soft skinned vehicle kit (Tamiya? Airfix?) sometime to convince myself that I can actually do them easily enough!
