Boulton Paul Defiant Mk I build – Part 2:Assembly

  • Cockpit sprayed with Tamiya “Cockpit Green (IJN)” XF-71, followed by limited detail painting using Vallejo Model Color “Black” 71057.
  • Following coverage with Humbrol Gloss Clear and Citadel Purity Seal, AK Interactive “Wash for Interior” (AK093) was applied.
  • The high points were dry brushed with Citadel “Boltgun Metal”.
  • Eduard canopy mask was applied.
  • For simplicity I assembled it wheels up, as I have a number of spare stands and display space is limited.
