- The exhaust (textured with Mr.Surfacer 1000) was painted with Lifecolor paints (UA704, UA703, UA702, UA701).
- A small amount of AK Interactive “Light Rust Wash for green vehicles” (AK046) was added around the exhaust area to simulate rust staining. The excess was later removed my a brush dampened with white spirit.
- Later, rust streaks were applied on select vertical and sloping surfaces of the upper hull by using AK Interactive “Rust Streaks” (AK013) and Mig Productions 502 Abteilung “Light Rust Brown” ABT060, followed by blending with white spirit.
