The muzzle break on the metal barrel looks really good

Yes. The kit one is pretty nice too I think, but the problem is that the barrel is split into two halves. That means dealing with a two long join lines, which, after filling and sanding, could lead to slight deformation. I guess that a metal barrel is one of the easiest upgrades you can go for and one I often do.
