Pickup “Technical” with ZPU-2 build – Part 6:Weathering (dust, metal and stains – pickup)

  • Wheels, various parts (particularly lower) of car body and windows lightly sprayed with 5% Tamiya XF-57 “Buff” in Tamiya X-20A thinner.
  • Application of AK Interactive “North Africa Dust” pigment (AK041) followed by fixing with a spray of Tamiya X-20A thinner.
  • Application of AK Interactive “Dark Steel” pigment (AK086) to selected parts (mostly chassis and flat bed).
  • Application of diluted AK Interactive “Engine Oil” (AK084)  or AK Interactive “Fuel Stains” (AK025) as small stains to the flat bed, by means of flicking from the end of a small brush.
