Valentine Mk I build – Part 9:Weathering (dry mud)

To date I don’t feel that I have got the most out of using pigments as an effective weathering method. So, for this model I thought that I would give them another go, building on the previous dust layer to attempt to give a look of dry mud. AK Interactive “European Earth” pigment (AK042) was thus dusted on the wheels, lower hull, the turret area and select others areas of the upper tank. Once I was happy with the coverage I wetted the area with Tamiya X-20A thinner to fix them in place. I did not want to go overboard with this – just a decent “dusting”.
