Valentine Mk I build – Part 8:Weathering (dust)

  • A 1:1 mixture of AK interactive “Dust Effects” (AK015) and AK Interactive “Earth Effects” (AK017) was applied to certain parts of the horizontal surfaces. After several minutes, the excess mixture was removed by brushing white spirit.
  • A 1:1 mixture of Tamiya Acrylic XF-57 “Buff” and Tamiya Acrylic XF-52 “Flat Earth” in Tamiya X-20A thinner (10% paint to 90% thinner) was sprayed on the underside, wheels and under the turret.
