Includes Friulmodel track and some of the Eduard photo etch set. I used Xtracrylix Dunkelgelb (XA1805), Olivgrün (XA1806) and Schokoladebraun (XA1807). This was followed by paint chipping with Vallejo Model Color German Camouflage Black Brown (70822). It was washed with a dilute mixture of Winsor and Newton Lamp Black and Raw Umber. Mig pigments (Europe Dust and Dry Mud) were mixed in fixer and selectively applied to the lower hull, wheels and track.
I had wanted to paint this in the “Ambush” camouflage. But I must confess, after an aborted attempt, I opted for the easy life! Even so, the three tone hard edged camouflage took a large amount of masking with tape and BluTack. The Xtracrylix brown colour surprised me in having quite a shade of purple to it. It is possible that this is not altogether accurate for this vehicle?
