This – the Airfix Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II “starter set” (A55010, 1/72 scale) [3] – is a companion piece to the Typhoon. If anything, it was easier to put together than the earlier one and finished in the paints shown in the pictures.

The markings are for No.617 Squadron, RAF, HMS Queen Elizabeth (Carrier Strike Group 21), 2021.
