Tiger I (mid production) build – Part 2:Assembly

As usual with Dragon kits – at least in my experience – the instruction manual is busy! But I found it usable enough. Personally, I liked the single moulded tow cables – I can’t imagine I would want to to do those with separate wire – but I have read that they are not to everyone’s taste. The only things which I didn’t like were the brass grill covers – they didn’t seem quite the perfect shape to me to fit the plastic nicely – and the gun lock assembly – that was fiddly and even now I do not much like the look of it. But, I am a beginner when it comes to German armour, so I am not too bothered by these and am hoping it will look imposing enough when fully assembled and painted.
