Panzerkampfwagen 38(t) Ausf. E/F build – Part 3:Painting

Primer: Tamiya “Fine Surface Primer” (light grey) spray can.

Base coats: In all cases the paint was sprayed as a 1:2 mixture in Mr.Color leveling thinner.

  • Mr.Color “German Grey” (40)
  • Mr.Color “German Grey” (40) and Mr.Color “RLM76 Light Blue” (117) in a 1:1 ratio

Details:

  • Road wheels: Mr.Color “Tire Black” (137)
  • Tools: Vallejo Model Color “Black Grey” (70862), LifeColor “Dark Wooden Stock” (UA729)
  • Stowage items: Vallejo Model Color “German Uniform” (70920), LifeColor “British Uniforms Leather Jacket” (UA445), Humbrol “Aluminium” (56)

A 1:2 mixture of Mr.Color “Clear Gloss” (46) and Mr.Color Leveling Thinner was sprayed over the entire model and the decals applied. Gloss was reapplied to the areas with decals, in order to protect them for subsequent stages.
