T-34 tractor (model 1944) build – Part 3:Painting

Primer: Tamiya “Fine Surface Primer” (light grey) spray can.

Basecoat: A 1:2 mixture of Mr.Color “Russian Green (2) – USSR tank late WWII” (136) and Mr.Color Leveling Thinner was sprayed all over. Then, a 3:1 mixture of Mr.Color “Russian Green (2) – USSR tank late WWII” (136) and Mr.Color “Character White” (107) in Mr.Color Leveling Thinner (1:2 ratio of paint mixture to thinner) was sprayed on the upper parts.

  • Saw: Vallejo Model Color “Black Grey” (70862) and Vallejo Panzer Aces “Old Wood” (310)
  • Road wheels: Mr.Color “Tire Black” (137)
  • Periscope: LifeColor “Black” (LC02)
  • Hull gun: LifeColor “Black” (LC02)
  • Unditching logs: LifeColor “Light Wooden Stock” (UA728), “Dark Wooden Stock” (UA729), “Brown stone” (UA781), “Russian Uniform M35 Tunic”, “Soviet Army 7K Green Yellow” (UA242). Drybrushed with “Dark Sand Stone” (UA242).
