- Chipping was simulated with AMMO “Russian 4BO Light Base” (A.MIG-933), followed by Vallejo Model Color “German Camouflage Black Brown” 70822. I was quite restrained in my application, as I didn’t think that a vehicle of this supposed era – arriving just after the end World War Two – would have much in the way of paint damage.
- I used Lifecolor rust paints on the two exhausts. Thinking about it now, I should probably have toned down the rustiness in this case …
- Washing was achieved with AMMO’s “Dark Brown Wash for Green Vehicles wash” (A.MIG-1005).
- Various oil paints were applied to select parts of the hull and turret, either to fade a specific section or to begin the process of streaking effects – Mig Productions 502 Abteilung “Olive Green” ABT050, “Basic Earth” ABT093 and “Luftwaffe Yellow” ABT010.
