Vickers Light Tank Mk VIA build – Part 3:Painting

Primer: Tamiya “Fine Surface Primer” (light grey) spray can

Base coat: A mixture of 90% Tamiya acrylics (XF-61 “Dark Green”, XF-62 “Olive Drab” and XF-3 “Flat Yellow” in a 5:2:3 ratio) and 10% Tamiya X-22 Clear in Tamiya X-20A thinner (2:1 paint mixture to thinner).

Details (tyres): Vallejo Model Color “Black” 70950

Details (tools): Vallejo Model Color “Black Grey” 70862

Details (guns): Vallejo Model Color “Black” 70950

Details (headlight): Games Workshop “Mithril Silver”

Details (stowage): Vallejo Panzer Aces “Canvas” 314, Vallejo Panzer Aces “Leather Belt” 312

The paint was protected with layers of Quick Shine and then Citadel Purity Seal satin varnish.
