Centurion Mk.6 build – Part 12:Weathering (dust and earth)

Mostly just a light “dusting” – I wanted this vehicle to be in decent condition (hence no paint scratches).

  •  A 1:1 mixture of Tamiya Acrylic XF-57 “Buff” and Tamiya Acrylic XF-52 “Flat Earth” in Tamiya X-20A thinner (10% paint mixture in thinner) was sprayed on the wheels, side skirts, lower front and rear, selective parts of the hull and turret.
  • Application of  AK Interactive European Earth” pigment (AK042) to selective parts. Excess  pigment was brushed away and fixed by application with Tamiya X-20A thinner using a brush.
